World's Best Grandparents is operated by the operator identified on this page before launch. Privacy questions and requests go to our published privacy address.

The service is intended for adult nominators and purchasers. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly solicit personal information directly from children under 13.

From the nominator or customer: name, email address, relationship to the recipient, and any brand-specific marketing preference.

About the recipient: name, preferred family title, an optional city or town, the nomination stories and answers, an optional photograph, and information about both people when grandparents are nominated as a pair.

Order and fulfillment: the selected product or tier, payment status and transaction identifiers, a shipping address when physical fulfillment is purchased, and order and fulfillment records.

Technical and security: basic device, request, and log information, plus secure return-link and security records.

Full payment-card details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored by World's Best Grandparents.

This product is unusual: the person filing a nomination normally supplies information about someone else. Nominators may submit names, stories, and photographs relating to a grandparent or to a pair of grandparents.

The nominator represents that they have the right or permission reasonably needed to provide those materials.

An honoree, or someone authorized to act for them, may contact us at our published privacy address to request correction or unpublishing of material about them.

To save and resume nominations, generate personalized award materials, create previews, process payments, produce and ship physical awards, provide Record Book Entries according to the chosen visibility setting, send transactional communications, provide customer support, handle correction and unpublishing requests, prevent fraud and keep the service secure, and send optional marketing only where the customer opted in.

Original uploaded photographs are stored privately. Secure, temporary access is used to preview and process them, and a photograph may be incorporated into the award materials you request.

Once an award is purchased, the visibility of a photograph shown on a Record Book Entry follows the visibility setting the customer selects.

During nomination: nomination information and original uploads remain private.

After an award is made official: Record Book Entries are unlisted by default. Anyone with the link may view the page, but it is not intentionally included in public browsing or search and is marked against search indexing. Unlisted is not the same as private.

Public: if the purchaser explicitly chooses Public and public functionality is enabled, the entry may be publicly listed, indexed by search engines, and discoverable through search.

Customers and honorees may request unpublishing or correction where appropriate.

We use secure return links instead of customer accounts, so you can reopen a nomination without a password. We retain only a protected, tokenized representation of the link.

A return link stops working after a period of disuse. Expiration of a return link does not necessarily mean the underlying nomination data is immediately deleted.

Nomination information may be sent to automated (AI) writing providers to generate personalized award content such as citations and Case Files. These providers do not independently verify the factual accuracy of a nomination.

Provider-specific data-use terms, including any training-related settings, will be confirmed and described here when the production AI provider is selected.

Information may be shared with categories of providers reasonably necessary to operate the service: hosting, database, and storage providers; automated writing providers; payment processors; printing and fulfillment providers; transactional email providers; and analytics or security providers if they are later enabled.

Depending on the service, a provider may process information on our behalf or under its own applicable terms and privacy obligations.

We do not sell personal information. The site does not currently run advertising pixels, behavioral advertising, cross-site tracking, or third-party analytics.

If we enable such tools in the future and their use materially changes these practices, we will update this notice before doing so.

California online tracking: because the site does not currently track visitors across third-party websites over time, it does not respond differently to browser Do Not Track signals.

Transactional email is used as needed to operate the nomination, order, and fulfillment service. Marketing email is separate, optional, brand-specific, and can be unsubscribed from at any time.

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain award and order records, meet accounting and legal obligations, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and honor applicable correction or removal requests.

You can contact us at our published privacy address to request correction, deletion, unpublishing, a marketing opt-out, or information about the data associated with your nomination or order. We voluntarily consider reasonable correction and unpublishing requests.

Some information may need to be retained for order, accounting, fraud-prevention, or legal purposes.

Users in some jurisdictions may have additional privacy rights under applicable local law. Any intentional international or EU marketing or sales will be reviewed before production expansion.

Material changes to this notice will be reflected by updating this page and its effective date above. The version you accepted is recorded with your nomination.
